About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at New 5 Electrical Inc. as a key member of our electrical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and testing of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and electrical motors.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Code Interpretation: Interpret electrical code specifications and drawings to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 people to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including outdoors.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
