Join Our Team as a Quantitative Modeling Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Modeling Team Lead to join our team at Manulife Financial Corporation. As a key member of our General Account Investment Division, you will be responsible for establishing and managing hedging programs that help us make decisions easier and lives better for our customers and colleagues around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies to manage risk and optimize returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance database infrastructure and ensure system readiness for new product features and offerings
  • Review and analyze hedging liability grid results and provide performance attribution
  • Recommend hedging decisions using analysis, data, and modeling
  • Respond effectively to time-sensitive requests for information from Management
Requirements:
  • OR graduate degree in a quantitative field
  • Organized and able to manage complex processes
  • Knowledge of Python or a similar programming language
  • Stochastic modeling and quantitative modeling knowledge are assets
