Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of sanitation staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sanitation and hygiene program, including training and education for staff.
- Monitor and report on sanitation and hygiene metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including food safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure access to best-in-class sanitation and hygiene solutions.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as environmental health or food safety.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sanitation and hygiene, with a focus on food manufacturing or consumer products.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective sanitation and hygiene protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Work indoors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens.
- May work close to others, usually within a few feet.
- Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.
- Standing, sitting, or kneeling involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel-toed safety shoes/boots, and beard nets.
- Ability to bend or twist their body.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work from heights.
