About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant at IN & OUT CONVENIENCE STORE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation and presentation meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
    • Scour pots and pans
    • Package take-out food
    • Portion and wrap foods
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve any issues or concerns
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
