About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hedgehog Technologies Inc. as a key contributor to the development and integration of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable projects
  • Ensure safety is paramount in all systems design and development
  • Travel for projects and be comfortable with hands-on technical troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities and respect diverse cultures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years in a mechanical design or product development role
  • P.Eng. license in BC with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
  • 3D CAD Modelling and Drafting in SolidWorks or similar
  • Finite Element Analysis
  • Experience with safety-critical systems
  • Experience with design for harsh environments (weather conditions, pressure, temperature, and corrosion)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
