Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at APEX HIGH PERFORMANCE HOUSING. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Criminal record check
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs and over 45 kg/100 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Reliability, team player, and dependability
