Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bar Service Professional to join our team at The Canadian Bar Code Corporation. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and draft beer systems.
  • Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations on drink options.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, and beer.
  • Manage cash, credit, and debit transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, and enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position.
