- Conducting thorough investigations into grievances and proposing resolutions
- Collaborating with multiple departments throughout the organization
- Assisting management during Grievance and Arbitration sessions
- Developing training initiatives focused on employee relations
- Analyzing workforce data to detect patterns and enhance strategies
- Ensuring adherence to employment legislation
- Serving as a subject matter expert on Collective Agreements
- Revising HR policies and procedures as necessary
- Executing HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives
- Supporting various HR projects and initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in labor relations, human resources, or a related discipline
- Master's degree is preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in labor relations
- CPHR/CRHA certification is an asset
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with labor unions
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong leadership and management capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of labor laws
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Adaptability and flexibility in approach
- Willingness to travel as needed
