Product Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Product Manager will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new products, as well as the ongoing management of existing products. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Production, to ensure that company goals and customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product development plans, including market research, product specification, design, and launch.
- Work closely with Engineering to define product release requirements and modifications.
- Develop and implement product marketing plans, including competitive product and price comparisons.
- Predict costs and prices for future products to ensure profitability.
- Analyze and prioritize requests for product improvements.
- Determine industry trends and forecast accordingly to ensure company goals are met.
- Develop product training materials and research ways to develop new markets.
- Travel to dealers and attend industry events to stay up-to-date on market trends.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Product Manager or in a related progressive role in Sales/Marketing or Project Management.
- Experience with agricultural equipment is an asset.
- Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
- Strong product and project management skills.
- Good knowledge base with mechanical systems is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of computers and software, such as Microsoft Office products.
- Related post-secondary education is an asset.
- Ability to travel freely.
