Position Overview

The Culinary Specialist at Kabab & Thali Restaurant is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Ensure dishes are safe for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order and manage supplies and kitchen equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their development
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to uphold hygiene standards
  • Recruit and hire new kitchen staff as needed
  • Manage daily kitchen operations efficiently
