Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking applications for casual/on-call Event Security Officers to enhance our expanding team. Opportunities for supervisory and team lead positions are also available. Our roles are flexible, typically scheduled during evenings and weekends, making them ideal for those seeking supplementary income. The positions we aim to fill include:

  • Front of Stage Security
  • Security Rovers
  • Backstage and Loading Dock Security
  • Access Control Personnel
  • Security Supervisors
  • Event Staff Leaders
  • Ticket Verification Agents
  • Ushers
  • Medical Personnel

Key Duties

Our Event Team at various venues is responsible for conducting regular patrols, performing bag inspections, and providing outstanding customer service. You will also be required to administer first aid, respond to incidents and emergencies, and maintain a visible security presence. Working at events is dynamic and fast-paced, presenting constant challenges and opportunities for problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Exceptional customer service skills, complemented by a friendly demeanor.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid OFA 1/Advanced Security Training certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Seeking supplemental income opportunities.
  • Previous experience in event security and a valid security license are advantageous. If you lack these, we will assist you in obtaining your security license and cover the associated costs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Capability to pass a security clearance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evening shifts.
  • Minimum age of 19 years (for Security Positions) and possession of a high school diploma.

Compensation: $22.50/hour
