About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at B.C. LTD. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements.
  • Apply successive coats of compound to seams and joints, and smooth out excess compound.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
