Policy Development:
  • Policy Development: Develop and update internal policies and procedures to align with changing laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Business Process Review: Review and approve new business processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
Liaison with Regulatory Authorities:
  • Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and regulatory bodies.
  • Regulatory Examinations: Manage and coordinate regulatory examinations, inquiries, and audits.
Ethics and Integrity:
  • Organizational Culture: Promote an organizational culture of integrity, ethical decision-making, and commitment to compliance.
  • Business Ethics: Advocate for ethical business practices and adherence to company values.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)) are often preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in transportation industry. Experience in risk management, internal auditing, or legal advisory is beneficial.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the company's operations.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex information to diverse audiences. High ethical standards and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in compliance software and reporting tools. Proficient knowledge of computers.
