Ethnic Food Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Specialist to join our team at MINT LEAVES Indian Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and physical demands are required. We offer relocation costs covered by the employer and a permanent work term with 30 to 40 hours per week.
