Position Summary:

We are currently in search of skilled Class 3 Truck Drivers to operate from our various locations.

Key Features of the Role:

  • Regular daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, with early morning start times.
  • Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to fulfill contractual commitments and accommodate holiday periods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate trucks along designated routes in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Complete routes promptly while ensuring safety at all times.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment while navigating various traffic and road conditions.
  • Maintain communication with team members and supervisors to receive guidance and report any issues encountered during transit.
  • Promptly report any driving violations or license suspensions.
  • Stay vigilant and aware of surroundings throughout the driving process.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Act in the best interest of the company and take necessary actions to uphold these responsibilities.
  • Safeguard the well-being of fellow employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Possession of a valid commercial driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Minimum Class 3 License is required.
  • Experience in the waste management sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capability to operate necessary equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is essential.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors to ensure project completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are highly valued.
  • Prior experience in waste management or recycling is beneficial but not mandatory.
