Position Overview

As a Financial Records Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations at GUAC MEXI GRILL. Your expertise will ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee compensation.
  • Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Accurately post journal entries to reflect financial activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Tax Preparation: Compile and prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Trial Balance: Prepare and review trial balances of books.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure accounts are reconciled and discrepancies addressed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
