Job Opportunity: IRATA Rope Access Technician, Pipefitter

Stuart Olson is seeking an experienced IRATA Rope Access Technician, Pipefitter to join our team at our client site in Fort McMurray. The successful candidate will provide expert oversight, guidance, and coordination in a Petro-Chemical industry setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project documents and perform rope access maneuvers
  • Manage tools and materials, and perform rigging tasks
  • Conduct equipment inspections and interpret blueprints
  • Perform welding duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid IRATA certification, mandatory
  • Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket, mandatory
  • Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing

Working Conditions:

  • Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
  • Working at heights and in and around noise and dust
  • Must be clean shaven and wear personal safety equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and climb stairs/ladders regularly
