Job Title: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic

CMJ Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation, ensuring accurate and efficient work.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, providing detailed estimates and proposals.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine work requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Troubleshoot heating systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, using advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, ensuring precise and safe installation.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems, using advanced repair techniques.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the field is an asset.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
