Job Title: Unit Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our team at Duke & Lion Family Co.

Job Summary:

The Unit Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food in our fast-paced food service environment. This includes training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supply requirements, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Work Environment:

The Unit Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in food service or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
