We are seeking part-time instructors to deliver online educational services to bilingual international students. As a part-time academic mentor, you will provide academic support and guidance to students in middle school, high school, and college.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for equitable education. You will be responsible for tutoring college-level courses in subjects such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, and other higher-level high school/ lower-level college subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver online courses to students in middle school, high school, and college
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic support to students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree from a top university
  • In-depth knowledge of 2-3 subjects listed above
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A real passion for equitable education and a desire to work with international students with diverse identities, cultural background, and academic proficiency

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Current MA, PhD, or EdD candidates
  • Classroom teaching experience at the high school or college level
  • One-on-one tutoring experience with high school or college students
  • Experience with online learning platforms
