About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Gulutzen Concrete Construction Ltd. as a Construction Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to meet project specifications.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable foundation.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to ensure a clean and safe working area.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Operate concrete vibrators to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Use reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, grinding machines, jackhammers, and sledgehammers to perform various tasks.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads with ease.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
Weight Handling
  • Ability to lift and carry loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) with ease.
