We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our interdisciplinary team at West Parry Sound Health Centre. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for the performance and interpretation of diagnostic laboratory tests and associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Completion of a recognized General Medical Laboratory Technologist program
- Current active, practicing registration with CMLTO
- Previous experience in Laboratory Technology doing general work in all areas
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to laboratory programs
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and accreditation standards
- Demonstrated excellent attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references
