We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Technologist to join our Vancouver Island team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing design and construction services for various project types across Vancouver Island.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external project team members and stakeholders to deliver projects from inception to delivery.
- Provide design and construction services for municipal engineering projects, including preparing engineering base plans, designs, drawings, and cost estimates.
- Develop concepts and designs using Civil 3D, CAD, and other computer-aided drafting programs.
- Assist in preparing engineering and construction tender documents and contracts.
- Inspect construction of municipal engineering projects and provide input into project budgeting and scheduling.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Engineering Design Technology with registration (or eligible for registration) with AScT or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC.
- 3+ years' experience in municipal or transportation engineering related fields.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of the design process.
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $85,000.
