About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Royal Caffe & Espresso Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain efficient systems for managing inventory, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, customer satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
