About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Cut Rite Meats & Deli Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure that they are running smoothly and efficiently, and that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
