Role Summary:
Distinctive HR Group Inc is in search of a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Associate to contribute to our esteemed engineering practice. This position is pivotal in advancing our organizational objectives and ensuring our clients receive outstanding service and superior design solutions.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement & Business Growth:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
    • Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities.
    • Support marketing initiatives and client engagement strategies.
  2. Project Oversight:
    • Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects of diverse scales and complexities.
    • Evaluate design proposals and specifications to deliver cost-effective solutions.
    • Ensure high-quality service delivery and mentor assigned team members.
  3. Leadership & Development:
    1. Guide and mentor Mechanical Designers and Project Coordinators.
    2. Assist in recruitment, training, performance assessments, and team development.
  4. Administrative Responsibilities:
  5. Supervise daily project operations and meet critical deadlines.
  6. Manage quality assurance and cost control during the design and implementation phases.
  7. Draft proposals for additional services and secure client approval prior to commencing new tasks.
  8. Financial Oversight:
    1. Administer project budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
    2. Address work in progress (WIP) and additional service requirements as necessary.
  9. Performance Evaluation:
    1. Achieve business development targets, maintain current accounts, and secure new projects.
    2. Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring deadlines are met and client satisfaction is upheld.
    3. Optimize the use of billable hours to achieve a utilization rate of 75%.
  10. Professional Growth:
    1. Complete a minimum of 30 hours of professional development each year.
    2. Obtain relevant professional certifications (P.ENG, P.L.ENG, P.TECH) as required for document signing and sealing.
