Job Description

The Concessions Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes scheduling and assigning work assignments, training and guiding staff on job duties and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Work Assignment: Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, and monitor progress.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members on job duties, food safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding to complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster a positive and productive team environment, communicating effectively with team members, management, and customers.
Requirements
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a related role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Food Service Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a food service environment, with a focus on customer service and team management.
  • Food Safety Certification: Must be able to acquire and maintain food safety certification.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
