About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer Assistant to join our team at Van Gogh Designs Furniture Ltd. As an Upholsterer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our upholstery team in the production of high-quality furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Check and weigh materials and products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Assembly and Packaging: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products with precision and care.
  • Support Operations: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in maintaining a smooth production process.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

As an Upholsterer Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, as we provide on-the-job training.
  • Availability: You must be available to start work on the advertised start date and be legally able to work in Canada.
