Casual Education Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a Casual Education Assistant to support students in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with activities of a special program
  • Plan and prepare materials and activities
  • Provide observation and assessment data, record keeping, care and assistance
  • Medically necessary interventions (e.g. catheterization, suctioning)
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Principal or classroom teacher
Requirements:
  • Ontario High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Teacher Aide Program, Child Care Worker Program, Developmental Services Worker Program, Children's Services Program or Early Childhood Education Program
  • Behaviour Management System (BMS) training is an asset
What We Offer:
  • Casual Qualified Education Assistant: $28.14/hr
  • Casual Unqualified Education Assistant: $25.14/hr
