About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Symmetry Physiotherapy + Rehabilitation. As a key member of our sports therapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer evaluative tests to assess patients' physical abilities and identify areas of dysfunction
    • Examine patients to determine the underlying causes of their symptoms and develop effective treatment plans
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to address patients' specific needs and goals
    • Select and use appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to promote optimal recovery and function
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports to track patients' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
    • Confer with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Education and Training
    • Teach and supervise patients in exercises and activities to promote optimal recovery and function
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT)
    • Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation) certified
    • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
