We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as required.
This is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to meet production demands. You will be required to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
