Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Neon Freight Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • More than 20 people supervised.
  • Transportation route and crew schedulers.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.

Physical Demands:
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
