About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Smoke's Poutinerie. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Develop and implement food safety protocols to maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food meets our high standards
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and service
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless team collaboration
  • Menu Development and Planning
    • Work with our culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
    • Plan and execute menu promotions and events
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels and optimize stock ordering to minimize waste and costs
    • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to improve profitability
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular customers and the local community
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control protocols
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
