Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff, and manage their performance to meet our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Communication: Prepare and communicate food order summaries to our chefs, and supervise the assembly of trays to ensure timely delivery.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
