Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice to a diverse range of clients in the municipal, mining, transportation, government, aboriginal, and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate commercial law strategies.
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate commercial law and regulations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate/commercial practice or in-house role.
  • Demonstrated corporate/commercial law experience.
  • Ability to articulate legal information clearly and practically to clients.
  • Strong legal research skills and computer literacy.
  • Willingness to travel to and work in communities throughout Northern Canada.
  • Membership in good standing of a Canadian law society, and eligibility for admission to the Law Society of Northwest Territories and the Law Society of Nunavut.
