Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving: Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Regularly inspect the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, performing necessary preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Licenses: Must possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and an Air Brakes Endorsement.
Work Environment

The position requires attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting for extended periods. Flexibility, sound judgment, reliability, and teamwork are essential personal attributes.

Additional Information

This role contributes to positive environmental outcomes and is a permanent position with a work schedule of approximately 50 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
