Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Yinghai Zhao. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry
  • Care for pets and ensure their needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits
  • Supervise and care for children at all times
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework and provide support when needed
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Own transportation and a valid driver's licence
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Initiative and ability to take on new challenges
  • Patience and understanding when dealing with children
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Time management and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong understanding of child development. You will be working in a family setting, providing care and support to children in a non-smoking and scent-free environment.

Language:

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Work Schedule:

This is a temporary position, working 35 hours per week.
