Your Role
As a Fuel Terminal Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and operational support at our bulk fuel terminal. Adherence to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements is essential, as you collaborate with terminal management to achieve operational goals.
- Evaluate performance against the Task Responsibility Tracker (TRT) and ensure compliance with all safety, security, health, and environmental (SSHE) policies.
- Conduct daily operations in alignment with ExxonMobil's business frameworks, focusing on operational integrity and product quality.
- Participate actively in scheduled meetings and collaborate with engineering teams to implement terminal upgrades and maintenance.
- Complete Management of Change documentation to meet operational standards.
- Perform quality assurance on new installations, including commissioning and documentation updates.
- Maintain terminal equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Troubleshoot and repair terminal and loading rack equipment, including pumps and valves.
- Engage in emergency response training and simulations.
- Safeguard company assets and ensure contractor services meet company standards.
- Execute operational and maintenance tasks in accordance with ExxonMobil standards.
- Oversee site driver observation programs, including compliance checks and training for new drivers.
- Interface with customers to manage site outages and minimize product unavailability.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant procedures and regulations affecting distribution operations.
- Participate in incident reporting and investigation processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience
- Mechanical and electrical experience is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance within the oil and gas sector.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, Multiload, TMS, and PLC systems is highly desirable.
- Training in product quality testing and pumping systems is beneficial.
