Job Title: Dispatcher, Trucks

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Trucks to join our team at Leopard Trucking LTD.

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher, Trucks will be responsible for coordinating the movement of trucks and trailers, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of shipments. This is a key role in our operations, and we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor traffic and road conditions to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-32 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
