About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Partner to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team at Interac. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our Technology & Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial drivers, opportunities, and risks, and provide strategic recommendations to maximize financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including executive review materials and Board reports.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Vendor Management: Support vendor discussions and negotiations, and review contract terms from a financial perspective.
Requirements
  • Education: CPA designation or equivalent education required.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in business case evaluation, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial statement analysis.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel modeling skills, strong time management skills, analytical skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
