Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at SPARX LOGISTICS CANADA LIMITED. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid DZ class license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and handle heavy loads.
