Bar Operations Manager

Alberta Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team. As a key member of our bar operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our bar, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of bar staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage bar staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high standards are met.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of bar staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Set and manage bar schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and customers.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and service.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily bar operations, ensuring high standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Fast-paced environment with high levels of customer interaction.
- Work under pressure to meet customer demand and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.
- English language required.
