Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Concrete Finishing Specialist** to join our team at **Oil City Ready Mix Ltd.** This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of a **Secondary (high) school graduation certificate** is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill in depressions and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Install various fixtures including anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure concrete surfaces.
  • Conduct waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoration of surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace sections of concrete structures that are worn or damaged.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This position is **physically demanding** and requires bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • A keen **attention to detail** is essential for success in this role.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • This is a **Permanent** position.
  • **Work Language:** English
  • **Work Hours:** 30 to 40 hours per week.
