Job Title: Laundry Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Helper to join our team at Lonsdale Launderette.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals as required for various cleaning tasks.
  • Hand-fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles with precision and care.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Inspect finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to guarantee they meet our quality standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to our processes.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
