Position Overview:
The role of Specialist II in Global Account Services is a dynamic and engaging support position focused on sales. This role involves collaborating with international clients across diverse segments by managing group and transient hotel reservations through various communication channels. Specialists utilize both internal and external systems to coordinate with global sellers, clients, and hotels, negotiating favorable rates and terms for groups ranging from single rooms to extensive bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
- Engage with clients, global sellers, and hotels through phone and email communications to secure reservations at optimal rates.
- Address and resolve basic customer service issues raised by key accounts.
- Utilize computer systems to negotiate rates and manage client information.
- Conduct outbound calls to clients and hotels as needed.
- Draft and send emails requesting contracts and follow up with relevant parties.
- Handle inbound communications from clients and hotels efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and general web browsing.
- Experience: At least one year of sales experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Success Factors:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
