About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Corporate Real Estate Team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of Tenant Interior projects.
  • Site Selection and Management: Support site selection during lease transactions, participate in site tours, and understand client user requirements.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate managers, user groups, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor project progress, handle issues that arise, and provide input and guidance in the development of scope and budgets.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and cost control processes.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, and performance standards, and manage risk associated with project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field, and 1-3 years of proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Skilled in facilitating collaborative problem-solving sessions, experienced in analyzing complex problems, proficient in evaluating design and construction alternatives, and strong planning abilities to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
  • Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
