RBC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Risk Modeling and Analytics team as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in retail banking and risk management, working closely with our experienced professionals to support the development of risk models and analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team's feature generation project, including data extraction, transformation, and data quality issues.
- Work with large, enterprise-level datasets leveraging standardized RBC tools such as Python, SAS, and SQL.
- Support regular and ad-hoc reporting and data analytics, and become comfortable communicating and dealing with senior members of the Risk Modeling team.
- Assist with preparing documentation for audits or other processes.
- Desire to learn and an eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment at RBC.
- Experience in SAS/R/Python or other mathematical/statistical programming languages.
- Experience with SQL/Teradata or other database management systems.
- Ability to handle and organize large amounts of data and effectively summarize/present it to other stakeholders.
