Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS devices.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
