Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to support our business operations in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business risks, developing strategies to mitigate them, and implementing risk management processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate business risks, identifying potential threats and opportunities for growth.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate identified risks.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management plans, training programs, and reports.

  • Develop and maintain risk registers, tracking and reporting on risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, with a proven track record of success.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
