Position Overview
Ai Insurance Organization Inc.
Ai Insurance Organization Inc. is a distinguished insurance brokerage based in Ontario, dedicated to addressing the dynamic needs of our stakeholders, including clients, team members, insurance partners, and the broader community. We are currently seeking a motivated and innovative Commercial Lines Technical Service Representative (TSR) to enhance our service operations. This position is a full-time remote role under a 9-month contract, with the potential for permanent employment upon successful completion of the term.
Role Objectives
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the ideal candidate will engage effectively with producers, clients, and underwriters to process, modify, and uphold Commercial Lines policies. The Commercial Lines TSR collaborates with internal teams, insurance markets, and vendors to oversee the policy lifecycle for both new and existing clients, ensuring data accuracy and striving for excellence in service delivery.

Technical Competencies
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal colleagues.
- Thorough understanding of commercial insurance products, applications, coverages, and limits, in relation to insurance carrier preferences.
- Capability to identify coverage gaps.
- Proficient in customer relationship management systems (CRM).
- Experience with broker management systems (BMS), preferably Vertafore SIGxp.
- Familiarity with insurance vendor and carrier portals is advantageous.
- Financial and accounting knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Essential Responsibilities
- Overseeing policy life cycles for new and existing clients, including new business submissions, renewals, re-marketing, and endorsements.
- Processing insurance-related documents and contracts, such as property valuations and premium financing agreements.
- Serving as the primary contact for customers regarding their insurance requirements.
- Assisting producers in preparing comprehensive submissions for quotes.
- Reviewing quotes, subjectivities, and policies for precision.
- Implementing internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and underwriting guidelines.
- Timely processing of endorsements and certificate of insurance (COI) requests.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve organizational objectives.
- Respecting the needs and contributions of others in all actions.
Qualifications and Experience
- RIBO licensed and in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial insurance.
- CIP, CAIB, and CRM designations and/or relevant coursework are considered beneficial.
- Experience in personal lines is an asset.
- Post-secondary education is an advantage.
- Preferred candidates are located in Ontario.

- Hourly rate based on experience.
